Originally, this was an installation in the Business School of Alfred University (Alfred, New York) in May 2007. I used large LED monitors in the financial trade room, used to communicate text-based data, mostly stock market information and news. I subverted the ordinary deal-room information with sentences about emotions, relationships, facts and misinformation about depression, ironic quotes about money, power and domination; left some real news and mixed them with private events. This work stays alive, as 'news' and 'facts' stay as ambiguous as our representation of them. The point is not to make a statement, but to intervene in the flow of things.
