Neon signs are usually used to represent or advertise something pleasurable, desirable and beautiful; yet, in this case, they are sending the depressing message of the pervading human mental state - psychological disorders. By connecting the psychological disorders with the color alert threat system, I want to reflect on why we submit ourselves to illusions even when we know that is what they are.
